  • Your Plan in Life

Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.

Are you a type of a Christian that waits on what’s gonna happen in your life, like you are just floating in the water that you will just wait that you’ll gonna end up to the shore? What if there’s a big waves that coming to you, or a shark that is coming after you? Are you gonna wait and let the shark eat you or let the wave hit you. As Christians, we should have a plan, a goal, just like in a business, there’s a goal, a mission vision statement in order to become a successful. Success is not an accident, it should be worked out it should be planned and should have a focus.

Know that it is God’s plan for you and Not just your own plan

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11) When you plan something in your life, you must consider if that certain plan is the will of God. If those plans can destroy you or can harm you then, the plan you have is not from God. God has a plan for you, you should know what it is, you have to know and seek what God wants you to be.

    Take actions

Don’t just wait to what will happen to your life. If you have a plan that you wanted; to build a business, or plan to become a doctor, or whatever plans you have, do it, take actions, and don’t just wait. “What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” (James 2:14-17) You want to build a business, invest; you wanted to become a doctor, go to medical school, and study hard. Work for your plans in order to succeed.

    Entrust your Plan to God

“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” (Psalm 143:8)   Don’t just know the plan that God has for your, take action to your plan, and put all of your trust to God; don’t rely on your own.  “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” (Proverbs 16:9) Let God direct you to the plan He has for you, for He knows what is best for you, the plan that you have right now, may not be the plan He intended for you, you should seek to God, talk to Him in prayer, once God tells you the plans He has for you, take it into action, work for it and trust everything in Him, because God is all knowing God. He knows and helps you for your plans to be successful; God's will always prevail, no matter the size of plans you have. Many times you have planned things on your own but God tells us to acknowledge him all our plans and he will direct our paths.

  • I Have a Plan For You

Sometimes even the light of day seems to loom heavy on our hearts. However scripture tells us that through the trials, pain and darkness Christ is with us and has overcome.

Seek Him with your trials. Seek Him in your pain. And seek Him in the darkness. He is the Author of our victory, the Hope in the shadows, and the Peace that passes understanding. Rest in the name above all names - Jesus Christ. Only He can fill you full of hope.

  • Worry Not About Tomorrow

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:34

Worry not about tomorrow! God promises to take care of His own. We are told that we have just this one day to rely on the Lord and He has promised to provide for us. (James 4:14-15) “Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that” Do not be overly concerned about tomorrow nor take the cares of two days and bring them all upon yourself in one day for none of us knows what a day may bring.

Matthew 6:25-34 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life. And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in his entire splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Everything we have been through, everything we are going to go through and everything we will go through has got His hand on it. We need to let go and trust that God has our back. We worry about the future when all we have is the present. The future is off limits to us. It's not ours. All we have is the present. And Jesus said that we must not live in time that our Father has not given to us, but in the time we have right now, the present  and trust our heavenly Father to do  just what He promise to do for us in supplying our every need, everyday. “God is a promise keeping God! Will you trust Him on today for your now and your future? If you do, He promises to take care of you. Worry not about tomorrow for tomorrow will take care of itself! “–(Debra)

  • Will You Follow Me

  • Why Consider Trials As Great Joy

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing”
    (James 1:2-4, NLT)

We do feel discouragement many times, we do have this worry in our hearts, this burdens some weight that falls upon our shoulders  and it seems like our whole world is crumbling down many times. We are commanded by God to be a joyful people, if we are in trouble, in trials or any circumstances, we need to fight for the joy that’s in us, do not linger on the negative emotions that would steal the joy that’s in us.

As Christians this troubles that comes to our lives, let’s view this as a growth and refining. These are opportunities that God is placing in our lives to become more like Jesus.  “ In all this your greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.  Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls”.(1 Peter 1:6-9). God is testing your faith, He wants to sharpen you, and so you could be useful.  “(Ecclesiastes 10:10) If you don’t sharpen your ax, it will be harder to use if you are smart, you’ll know what to do.” “Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17) God gives us surprising circumstances to train and equip each of us for battle. Remember that the key to growing is how you handle adversity. If you complain, you will remain. If you get negative and sour on life, you won´t pass the test. (Joel Osteen) When you pass all the trials that God tested you, you become victorious. (Romans 12:2) “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” God promises us that when we consider trails as our joy then we become mature to Him, He tells us that we will be complete and perfect, and would need nothing but only God.

  • Meeting Jesus in the Storm

In Matthew 14, Jesus' disciples were facing a storm that they thought might claim their lives. But verse 25 says, "Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake." Jesus met them where they were, in the middle of the raging sea. If you are facing a storm, cry out to Jesus. He met His disciples when they needed Him most and He will meet you right now if you simply ask.

  • Live As An Example

Some folks may think that young people nowadays are not a good example because of the world we are living right now. As young Christians we need to prove to the world that no matter we are surrounded with sinful behavior we can still set as a good example of young followers of Christ.

1 Timothy 4:12 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

    In Speech

As Christians we need to be an example to the world with regards to our speech. How we talk to others, how we deliver our thoughts and feelings. We should be careful for our choices of words, avoid cursing and swearing.  We should never follow the worldly languages. Speak words that are pleasing to God. “May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14)” We must keep in mind that one day we will be held accountable for our words, even if we say them without thinking first. “But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. (Matthew 12:36)”   To be an example of the believers in our speech we must speak words to heal not to hurt, to be mindful to build up relationship rather than tear down, to speak encouraging words than discouraging words, speak in love than to speak in hurtful words. Our words are powerful! Use it to please God.

    In Conduct

As young Christians how can we live as an example to the believers? It comes first in our home, how we behave at home by respecting our parents.” Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.   Honor your father and mother—which is the first commandment with a promise. (Ephesians 6:1-2)” when we behave properly at home it will follow on how you behave outside, respect your teachers, your classmates, your friends, to everyone. Not only are we to be examples in our conduct and behavior, but in our lifestyle as well. As believers, our interests and our priorities must be aligned with the revealed will of God as found only in His Word. “Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don't participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy.(Romans 13:13)” “(Ephesians 5:8)  For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!" We must not embrace the world system and its vain pleasures once we have become a new creation in Christ

    In Love

We talk about “we love because He loved us first” yesterday. As believers, we know there are a lot of things to show to the world how we show love towards one another. We talked about love one another because God is love. To love your brothers and sisters must be love unconditionally. Just as God's love for us, no doubts, no buts, no limitations, and no hesitations, just love without anything in return. (1 John 3:11) This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.  God commanded us to love one another, meaning we should love our family, friends, our classmates, co-workers, our fellow believers and even our enemies. Show them the love of God that you have by loving them in return.

    In Faith

As a young Christian we need to be an example to others in our faith.  According to the Bible, faith is essential to Christianity. Without demonstrating faith and trust in God, we have no place with Him. How do we demonstrate our faith? We are to know and study God's message to us, His Word. Show to the believers that we trust our lives to God. We fully put our trust to our one and only Creator. Show them that you exercise your faith by going to Sunday service, joining in youth ministries, sharing God’s word.

    In Purity

In this day and age, purity is rare.  We must learn to guard our hearts and protect ourselves as we serve Christ.  How do we set as an example to the world?  Let the Holy Spirit move in our lives. Do not let satan tempt you. “Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. (2 Timothy 2:22)” Do not be tempt or be pressure to become sexually active. Living a life of purity is more than just abstaining from sex. The definition of purity involves the way we interact with people. It includes what we think about and how we spend your time. Christian purity is a matter of totally committing our life to God.

  • Call Out to Him

for 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' " Romans 10:13

  • He First Loved Us

We must love one another because love is from God.  whoever does not love does not know God.

(1 John 4:8) God is love. God's love reveal among us in His own way. God sent us His only son so we might live through Him. Not that we love God but He loved us. we say that we love God but we hate some of our brother and sisters then we are liars. Those who does not love our brothers and sisters cannot  love God because they do  not know God. The commandment of God tells us that those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also. 1 John 4:20-21 If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command:  Whoever loves God must also love his brother and sister.

    Love One Another

Do you really wanna love one another? To love your brothers and sisters must be love unconditionally. Just as God's love for us, no doubts, no buts, no limitations, and no hesitations, just love without anything in return. (1 John 3:11) This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. (1 John 3:14)) We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death. God demonstrated his love to us through the greatest means possible as an example of how to love, he didn’t just say that he loves us but he actually proved it to us through his actions. Not many of us will have to die for someone to prove our love but we must love each other through good deeds we can’t just talk about it and never show any proof that we have love.

    He First loved us

As Christians who truly loves another person and does a good deed to help him, it is because Christ is working in that believer’s life. We cannot take the credit. Naturally, we are selfish and hateful (Titus 3:3) At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. It is only because God is pouring out his love into our hearts that the church can be a place of love. Nothing can come out of a man that is not inside him first. If true love is to come out of him, then he must first come to know the love of Christ. If we do anything in love, it is only a tiny reflection of what he has done for us. No love can ever be like his. If we truly want to love others as Christians, we must remember this. The only place to start is here. “We love him, because he first loved us.”
